Let me start with, my son has been going to this pediatrician since he was 2 weeks old and I should have changed his pediatrician a long time ago, However now I will happily look for another Hollistic pediatrician. Even though calling this establishment hollistic is a stretch to begin with. I understand why this practice is rated 3 stars compared to the countless others that are 4-5 stars. The wait is always extremely long to the point that you wonder if the doctor even knows you’re there. A 40 minute appointment can easily turning into 1-2 hours here. They don’t value your time, but definitely do value theirs have the audacity to add a 25$ fee if you couldn’t make it to an appointment and won’t waive it even as a one time courtesy if it had never happened before in the 4 years of your child going there. I happily pay 100$ self pay each visit so 25$ is not the point, it’s the principal. They only value their time, not yours. And also only care about money. There is 0 genuine care or concern for their patients. You are simply just a clipboard paper to them, not a child they care about. They never answer the phone, are never available unless you are giving them money, good luck

I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at this office. Two weeks ago, my daughter was seen, and I requested that her immunization records be transferred because she needed them for school. After waiting two weeks, I called today only to find out that it still had not been done. To make matters worse, I had to submit the records request five different times before anyone finally acknowledged it. A simple, time-sensitive request should not require that much effort from a parent. Since the office failed to do its job, I ended up going to the Health Department myself, and they completed the transfer the very same day. I should have gone there two weeks ago instead of wasting my time waiting on this office. The lack of communication, urgency, and organization is unacceptable. Parents should not have to constantly follow up just to have basic requests completed. Today was the last straw. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for reliable care. This place is managed more like a circus than a professional medical practice.

My toddler has been a patient at this practice for almost two years (since birth). I have United Healthcare PPO, our insurance is active - I know this because we literally used it less than a week ago. Never had a lapse in coverage, no issues with any other offices, nothing. My insurance has not changed, my husband has an amazing job and we have great insurance. I call to schedule a wellness checkup (my child is perfectly healthy, just wanted a simple checkup) and the receptionist insists that my son is inactive and we have no health insurance. She was like you can call your insurance because you are inactive! Basically accusing my household of not having insurance. Starts going hmmm, no, you're inactive, how unfortunate, you can call your insurance...even after I offered to give her the provider phone number on my insurance card. You know what, how about no. I will just change practices. Super insulting and degrading. 0 stars.

We started taking our newborn to see Dr. Colon a few months ago. I was looking for a holistic pediatrician for my son and was willing to drive the 40 minutes to see her. Overall I felt she spent a lot of time with us during our visit and provided good service. However, the office is an absolute disaster. You can never get a hold of anyone for assistance. I needed forms filled out for daycare and I spent days trying to contact them. Finally someone answered and told me they would get the forms to me that day. Of course that never happened. My son was unable to start daycare due to a simple two page document. I had to call another pediatrician to get him in for another wellness visit just to get the paperwork filled out. I have tried to call the office to cancel his next appointment and of course no one answers the phone. Also, do not expect the front desk to be friendly or accommodating. I would not trust that this office would be able to get you an appointment for a sick child. You will also not know when they are closed as they do not update their website or phone system to provide this information.

I cannot recommend Dra. Colon and the entire team of Coral Spring Holistic Pediatrics HIGHLY ENOUGH!!! This isn't just a pediatric office; it's a supportive place for families. Dra. Colon's knowledge is truly exceptional.Her holistic approach is thoughtful and comprehensive, going far beyond a typical check-up. She takes the time to listen, explains her recommendations with incredible clarity, and genuinely partners with you in your child's health journey. I feel so confident and secure knowing my child is under her care. Equally wonderful is the support staff. They are the embodiment of patience, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Whether we're dealing with a fussy infant or a stressed-out parent (and let's be honest, we all have those days!), the staff handles every situation with grace and a comforting, can-do attitude. They are truly the unsung heroes who make every visit smooth and positive. If you are looking for a pediatric office where the doctor is a brilliant, knowledgeable leader and the staff treats every family with respect and kindness, look no further than Dra. Colon's office. They are simply the best!
